“Ca’ Pigneto”, a breathtaking natural amphitheatre located in the Valpolicella, has been famous for centuries for its microclimate, particularly suitable for the cultivation of olive trees and vines.
Here this Recioto for great “atmospheres” takes its origins.
It is produced from dried grapes using centuries-old and complex techniques. The result is a well-structured wine with a good alcohol content, whose sweetness derives from the non-fermented residual sugar. Its peculiar characteristics make the wine unique and unmistakable for its cardinalitial colour, its strong perfumes with hints of violet, sour cherry and florentine iris mixed with the most delicate spices. It is one of the great wines by Paola Adami from Conti Serenelli, who recommends it not only with typical cakes, as dessert, but combined with fat of marbled cheese and with sweet or aged sausage meat.
